On the Fringe
Welcome to the very first On the Fringe event hosted right here in the very heart of Scotland, Stirling.
Our outdoor event lets you experience some of the finest performers that you can expect to see display ostentatiously their talents from the world famous Royal Mile Edinburgh.
Come and enjoy the live fringe area situated right next to the Foodie Festival so you can kick back and enjoy the entertainment on show including some high-flying Circus.
On the Fringe is a new addition to our Festival visitors this year showcasing new and experienced talent brought straight to the stage. So, settle yourself with a drink, some food and enjoy some unique entertainment from Scotland’s ancient Capital.
Our performers would also love to see you in Edinburgh so if you enjoy your experience with us then information will be on hand, so you know where and when to go to catch each performer’s full show in Edinburgh.
Roll up, Roll up!
We have a unique experience on offer for those who would like a more in-depth experience of life within a Circus Troupe. Wolanski’s pole & aerial fitness will be running a Mixed Youth Circus Skills class suitable for those aged 5 years – 17 years old. Participants can expect to learn and develop skills on equipment such as Aerial Hoop, Aerial Hammock and Chinese Pole. Participants will also learn some nifty moves required for Acrobatics and Acrobalance.
Please ensure participants wear clothes which have no zips/buckles or belts as this will inhibit/prevent their movement on equipment.
As these sessions are exclusive (each tutorial will allow the maximum number of 15 participants only) we recommend early booking. Please note all pre-bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Please arrive around 15minutes early to fill a disclaimer form and to ensure all jewellery is removed. Adults can then arrive to greet their youngsters at the end of the session. We ask parents or guardians to arrive 5 minutes ahead of the sessions end time.
There will be 2 main tutorials on the day:
11.30 am – 12.30 am
1pm – 2pm
Cost: £10 per head
