About Us
“I have had a passion for the food and drink sector since attending Falkirk College’s hospitality management course back in the 90’s. Now as an experienced event organiser, it was always going to be the case that at some point I would delve back into food and drink.” – Matt McGrandles
It has been some journey so far, as we look to create a new food and drink experience in Stirling. We wanted to create a brand that represents the amazing history of the area, using the best quality products so we can produce an amazing food and drink experience for people to enjoy.
‘Sruighlea, a food and drink experience’
The word Sruighlea [pronounced Sreee-lie] is the Scots Gaelic for Stirling, a hugely popular visitor destination in Scotland that is steeped in history and Scottish culture.
SUPPORTING THE THIRD SECTOR
The Sruighlea business model is being set up as a social business where a percentage of profits are donated to Ceangail Training Academy SCIO, a registered Scottish charity that provides practical training programmes for young people aged between 16 and 40.
